Temple Highlights

This temple is situated at Battrena Halli a village between Vijayapura & Shidlaghatta on the Vijayapura Shidlaghatta main road. The temple is at a distance of about 5 KM from Viijayapura Bus Stand and about 14 KM from Devanahalli.

The Temple Bhoomi Pooja was performed in September 2004.

The Temple was inaugurated on 14th September 2005 by Veda Brahma Sri.Narayana Murthy of Mattur Village along with Sri.Narayana Shastri and Sri.Suresh Shastri from Bangalore.

This temple was jointly founded by 2 brothers Sri.M.N.Venkateshappa & Sri. M.N.Narayana Swamy. Sri.M.N.Narayana Swamy is taking care of the overall development and improvement of the temple.

The Outer Wall & Inner Wall as well as the flooring of the Mandir has been covered by White Marble. Ceiling is well painted with floral patterns. Pictures depicting Saibaba’s Life Story has been hung on the Inner Wall of the Mandir.

The Temple opens at 06:00 AM with the Morning Kakad Aarti & will be kept open till night 8:00 PM without a break in between.

A Huge Gopuram with "OM" inscribed on it welcomes Sai Devotees to the temple. Two elephants made of Marble & Two Dwarapalaka’s are also installed at the entrance of the temple. Statues of different Gods & Goddess are inscribed on the outer wall of the temple.
A Beautiful Marble Idol of Shirdi Saibaba about 5 ft is placed in the centre. 3 smaller Marble Idols and 1 Panchaloha Idol of Sai Baba used for Pallakki Utsav on Thursday’s and other festive occasions is placed in front of the main Idol.
Marble Idol of Ganesha, Subramanya & Ayyappa are placed along with Sai Baba inside the temple. An Idol of Nandi is present opposite to the Saibaba Idol as in Shirdi.

Gurusthan with the photograph of Saibaba sitting on stone, A Blackstone Idol of Balamuri Ganesha &  Marble Idol of Jalakanteshwara along with Ganga Matha is also present inside the temple premises. An Idol of Nandi is also present opposite to the Jalakanteshwara Idol.

Special Events

  • Every Monday Special Abhishekam and Sahasranama Archana is performed to Shivalinga at 9:00 AM.

  • Every Tuesday Special Abhishekam and Archana is performed to Subramanya and Ayyappa Swamy at 9:00 AM.

  • Every Wednesday Special Abhishekam and Archana is performed to Balamuri Ganapati at 9:00 AM.

  • Every Thursday after Kakad Aarti Special Abhishekam, Archana, Puja and  Alankaram is performed to all the Idols present in the temple, Vishnu Sahasranama chanting is done in the temple in the morning. As is done everyday Dhoop Aarti is performed to Gurusthan and Neem Tree. In the evening, Sai Bhajans, Pallakki Utsav is performed followed by Shej Aarti and Mahaprasadam distribution to all the Sai Devotees who visit the Temple.

  • Every Friday Special Abhishekam, Kumkumarchana, Devi Ashtottara and Lalitha Sahasranamam is performed to Sri Chakra from 10:30 AM to 12:00 Noon.

  • Every Saturday Special Abhishekam, Archana and Pooja is performed to Sri.Mahaganapati at 8:30 AM. In the evening after Dhoop Aarti, Special Pooja is performed to Ayyappa Swamy.

  • Every Sunday after Kakad Aarti, Special Abhishekam, Archana and Pooja is performed to all the Idols present in the temple at 6:30 AM.

  • Satya Narayana Pooja is conducted on every Poornima or Full Moon day at 6 PM in the evening.

  • Sankashtahara Ganapati Vratha is done on Chaturthi of every month at 6 PM in the evening.

Social Service Activities

  • A spacious Marriage Hall (Lakshmi Venkateshwara Kalyana Mantapa) is constructed behind the temple & is given to the poor at discounted rates to perform marriages & other auspicious functions.

    4 Guest Rooms are constructed next to the Kalyana Mantapa behind the Temple and is provided free of cost to Sai Devotees travelling from far of places to take rest for some time.
  • Free Shirdi Yatra is sponsored by the Temple Management to about 100 Sai Devotees every year.

Alight at 5th KM Bhattrena Halli on the Vijayapura Shidlaghatta Main Road. All the buses plying towards Shidlaghatta stops near the Temple. The temple is about 3 KM from the Vijayapura Bus Stand.
